Accommodation

Gouda is an attractive town to study in and live in.

According to Keuzegids HBO, a Dutch independent university guide, Gouda is one of the most attractive university towns in the Netherlands!

We provide two options for you as an international student.

1. Student apartment - a genuine community

Located alongside Driestar University is a block of student accommodation with place for over 120 students. Students treasure their time staying here; together they eat, learn, laugh, debate, sing and play sports. The accommodation has 11 floors, with 11 apartments on each floor, and is open all year round. Each floor also has a communal common room. A floor plan can be found here.

The apartments are spacious, 24 square metres each, with most apartments also having a balcony. Each apartment is provided with its own:

  • Shower

  • Toilet

  • Kitchen area with hot plate

  • Internet connection (WIFI)

  • Bicycle storage

  • Ample parking

  • Launderette

  • Possibilities of using the sports hall

  • Use of the sports field

Central located

  • Five minute walking distance from bus and train station Gouda

  • The culturally rich town and shopping centre of Gouda

  • The Reeuwijkse plassen, a local nature reserve with many lakes, providing beautiful scenery and space for recreation.

2. Hotel Room

We also have a contract with the Campanile Hotel in Gouda. This is a 3-star hotel right in the middel of the 'green heart' of Holland and the Randstad conurbation. The hotel has 78 well-maintained rooms each with a luxury flat-screen TV, a bathroom with bath/shower combination and coffee and tea-making facilities. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet, a leisurely lunch or an à la carte dinner in the restaurant.
