Driestar educatief, University for Teacher Education, would like to offer you an attractive new international initiative; the intensive course: Educational Leadership.
Participants in this course will acquire knowledge and skills to improve educational leadership.
You will learn how to define mission and vision in a context of change and how to put models of transformative leadership into practice in your own cultural setting.
This course will be held from 24 November till 5 December 2014, in Gouda, the Netherlands.
Content of the Course
The content of the course will be carefully adapted to the needs and problems of the participants.
The basic programme covers the following subjects:
principles of personal leadership (Covey);
personal worldview as related to the nature and aim of education;
views about leadership in change (Michael Fullan);
collective ambitions and shared values;
strategies to inspire and motivate the teachers to implement change;
how to deal with data and how to learn from experiences with data driven education and the quest for more efficiency and effect.
